Exceptional Stock Show Entry

We are excited to offer our inaugural San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Exceptional Stock Show!

The goal of this event is to allow youths of all abilities to bond with a livestock animal while paired with a youth mentor.Furthermore, it is an opportunity to handle animals and gain the experience of showing in an actual stock show while having a fun time in the process.All of this will occur in the setting of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.All animals will have been previously shown in the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and will be accustomed to being handled.They should be very friendly. Participants will receive awards, recognition, the chance to work with a youth mentor and more.

This year’s event will be held on February 12, 2025, in the SWINE BARN at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Fairgrounds from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm. You will be provided with more information about parking, what to wear and more once we receive your entry form. This event is free of charge, regardless of the abilities of the participant.

There is NO transportation provided by the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo to or from the event. Since this event is during the day, teachers with the appropriate permission may bring their students to the event. Each participant will get the opportunity to show a lamb and/or a goat; however, other animals could be present in the vicinity. There are 40 spots available, so make sure to register early. The Registration deadline is: January 15, 2025 or once the 40 spots are filled, whichever comes first.
